Your Oral ExaminationYour initial oral examination
includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing,
cavity detection, oral cancer screening, diagnosis and treatment
recommendations.
We will also take
necessary x-rays,
which might include a panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of
the jaw bone and roots of your teeth as well as periapical x
rays to help evaluate infections and bite-wing x-rays for a
proper diagnosis of decay in between your teeth.
